In observance of the New Year holiday, the Railroad Commission of Texas will close at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and remain closed through Friday, January 2, 2026. Normal business operations will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026.

The session will include a discussion of the status of the Railroad Commission’s application for Class VI primacy and other issues regarding coordination between the RRC and the US Environmental Protection Agency.
