In observance of the New Year holiday, the Railroad Commission of Texas will close at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and remain closed through Friday, January 2, 2026. Normal business operations will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Surface Crude Oil Storage: There has been recent interest in developing additional crude oil storage capacity. This session will review the Commission’s regulatory requirements regarding the surface storage of crude oil, both on-lease and off-lease.
