In observance of the New Year holiday, the Railroad Commission of Texas will close at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and remain closed through Friday, January 2, 2026. Normal business operations will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Discussion topics will include authorized flaring and venting and exemptions to the rule, as well as exceptions to the rule. The new online filing system will also be discussed.
