Holiday Office Closure

In observance of the Christmas holidays, Railroad Commission of Texas offices will be closed December 23-27. The offices will re-open at 8 a.m. on Monday, December 30 for regular business. Notice to Gas Utilities: Texas Administrative Code §7.455 Curtailment Standards Filing Requirements

On April 14, 2022, the Railroad Commission of Texas (“Commission”) approved amendments to 16 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) §7.455 relating to Curtailment Standards that fully replace and supersede Commission Order 489. The updated curtailment standards govern the delivery and sale of natural gas by gas utilities during an emergency event and are effective September 1, 2022, for all natural gas utilities.
