RRC Adopts Revisions To LPG Form 1 And New LPG Form 1M

July 09, 2020

The Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) has adopted revisions to LPG Form 1, Application for LPG License or License Renewal and new LPG Form 1M, Application for LPG Container Manufacturer Registration.

The revisions to LPG Form 1 are related to recent amendments to Texas Natural Resources Code Chapter 113 and 16 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 9 that went into effect June 1, 2020. The revised form assists applicants with the initial licensing process and assists current licensees with the renewal process.

The new LPG Form 1M was adopted for manufacturers of LP-gas containers to register with the RRC. The new form allows applicants for initial registration to complete the process with guidance and assists current manufacturer registrants with the renewal process. The form was created as a result of recent amendments to Texas Natural Resources Code Chapter 113, which requires container manufacturers to register with the RRC instead of being licensed, and 16 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 9, that went into effect June 1, 2020 and required the adoption of the form.

The LPG Form 1 and LPG Form 1M are available for download from the RRC website
