Alternative Fuels Certification and Exempt Registration Renewals Update
May 19, 2021Alternative fuel certification and exempt registration card holders who submit their renewals to the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) on or before the renewal deadline, May 31, 2021, may continue to operate past the May 31 card expiration date until their renewal is processed and they receive their card in the mail.
To expedite the issuance of renewals, individuals are encouraged to pay online using the
Texas.gov payment portal.
Individuals who fail to renew their certifications or registrations will receive notice by letter in July.
