Holiday Office Closure

In observance of the Christmas holidays, Railroad Commission of Texas offices will be closed December 23-27. The offices will re-open at 8 a.m. on Monday, December 30 for regular business. Expedited Drilling Permits will be processed within standard processing times. If assistance is needed, please email Drillingpermits-info@rrc.texas.gov.
RRC maintains a 24-hour emergency phone line to report any leaks or spills. That number is 844-773-0305

Visiting the Railroad Commission

William B. Travis State Office Building – 1701 N. Congress, Austin, TX 78701

The main entrance to the William B. Travis State Office Building (WBT) is on the 1ST Floor, on the south and west sides of the building near the new Capitol Mall the located.

Visitors to the RRC should check in at the agency's reception desk, located on the 10th floor of the WBT building, next to the elevators.

Paid public parking is available at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum and the Capitol Complex Visitor Parking Garage.
